OIM plc announces a 12% higher net profit over the first 6 months of 2012
Despite the ongoing recession OIM plc was able to meet its targets over the first 6 months of 2012.
We are especially pleased with the fact that MySPARTA (49,3% ownership) successfully started a new business, after many years of inactivity. The resulting increase of its share-price resulted in a € 200.000 profit for the Company. OIM plc is hopeful to see increasing business in MySPARTA.
The Company's subsidiary Fleischhauer continues with a strong business development and further increasing profits. The non-audited results show an EBIT of € 1,042.000 in the 1st half 2011 : € 965.000. For the second half of the year we expect that Fleischhauer will grow to higher profit levels compared to last year. The orderbook looks very promising.
The board of OIM plc expects to meet its goals of 25% profit rise for this year consolidated.
